Full City Support for our Bike Project!

During its May 10 regular meeting, the Lafayette City Council approved unanimously to support our Safe Route to Acalanes dedicate bike and pedestrian path project. After a presentation made by Director of Engineering and Public Works Mike Moran and our project lead Eric Law, the city council voted to formally back our proposed solution. This support provides the green light to start fundraising efforts, including the acquisition of potential state and federal grants.

Below is a letter of support sent by Mayor Susan Candell to our Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, who has already earmarked funding of $238 thousand that will help cover design costs.
